Lucius Hudson’s Knock Down Strainer (KDS) was developed as an alternative to our fixed dimension aluminum strainers. They provide a lower cost shipping solution and greater accessibility to limited entry environments. Your KDS arrives ready to assemble in your studio, gallery or museum.
Your strainer will arrive with 4 – Perimeter Pieces, 4 – Braces, 4 – Corner Supports, 4 – Gussets, 1 – Brace Spider, 8 – Wedges and 1 – 4mm Ball End Screwdriver.

Holdiing the brace flush to the spider tighten screws with the provided 4mm allen screwdriver.
Install corner supports and assemble perimeter & braces. Download detailed assembly instructions here.
Measure for square and staple gussets to secure.
Remove gussets when stretching fabric on corners.
